Flatten the buns with a rolling pin first and set aside.
Take a small bowl and add butter, garlic powder, and onion powder, mix them all.
Apply the mixture all over the buns from outside.
Heat your grilling pan or a skillet on medium heat.
Slit cut your hot dogs from between just enough to split them into two. Fry each side of hotdogs on the grill pan for 2 minutes on each side.
Now place the bun on the pan, butter side down on it, and put cheese in between the bread. Now place the hotdog and layer it more with cheddar. Sprinkle it with green onions at last and close the bun.
Cover the pan and let it cook over medium heat until you see the cheese melting. Repeat the procedure with the second hotdog, and now your grilled cheese hotdogs are ready.
