- 1 Cup Butter
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 Cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon

- 2 Cups Apple
- 1 & ½ tbsp Ground Cloves
- 1 Cup shredded sweetened coconut & chopped walnut
- 1 Cup heavy whipped cream
- ½ Cup Light or Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, egg, and sugar until well blended.
Stir in the freshly grated apple in it. It may seem like the grated apple is completely taking over the dish, then it’s an ace thing.
In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients and then add it in the bowl of the wet ingredients and mix, just until incorporated.
Bake at 350 degrees F in a greased 9×13” pan for 40 min- 5min, or until a toothpick, wooden stick or knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack for at least 10-15 minutes.
Put all the caramel sauce ingredients in a large glass bowl and stir until it smooth.
Take about 2 inches of water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. After that turn it to a low simmer.
Set the glass bowl over the saucepan (or use a double boiler) and simmer the sauce, occasionally stir it and make it cook for 1 hour.
Pour into a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
